License Use
A single license allows you, to use the Webetiser tools on a single PC. You're allowed to create an unlimited number of Personal Search Engines and don't have to pay any runtime fees. You can install the Webetiser tools on any (server) machine in your organisation. Although, you have to control, that you never exceed the maximum number of users, working at the same time, you bought with a license.

Context
Commercial use
Older releases were separated into commercial and non-commercial use. We have given up this idea because it was too confusing for some customers. So, all releases can be used in commercial environments, but not everything is allowed ;-).
At home
There are still some discussions in the software industry about using company licenses at home. We allow this, if the maximum number of bought licenses isn't exceeded. You're allowed to install the software, where you need it, but you have to control the number of parallel used installations. So a mobile worker can install the software on a notebook and a pc in the office. But she has to control, if it is allowed to use both in parallel in the office, when the notebook is also in use.
Internal company projects
Internal means, you don't use it in conjunction to a customer-oriented project or in conjunction to your standard software packages or services, you sell to customers. So, only common company tasks are allowed, e.g., knowledge management for employees or sales-oriented product support material. The use for Internet homepages is also possible.
Part of cost-free customer offers
The use is allowed, if you offer free software tools, free marketing stuff, to push your products or other free information to customers. This doesn't imply software or services of any kind, you sell to customers. You're allowed to ask for a fee if this doesn't exceed the factory costs - so, you don't make a profit.
Part of standard software packages for customers
If Personal Search Engines shall become part of your standard software products you sell to customers, you need this kind of license. It is important to understand, that this license type doesn't allow to use Personal Search Engines in individual developed software or services, like you do in customer projects. If the customer requirements can't be realized through your standardized customization features in your software products and need development of individual extentions, you can't use this license.
This license is also not allowed for customer-driven Web site development or CD-ROM/DVD-ROM creation.
Unlimited sale to customers
This license type has no limitations. So, you can use it also for individual customer projects.
Degree of template adaptation
Everything except for the copyright hints
We understand, that it's important to you, to adapt the templates to your personal needs. So, you're allowed to do this. Because of the fair price for this kind of license, we only ask for one thing: keep all copyright hints (incl. the back link to our homepage) intact.
Removal of copyright hints
You're allowed to remove all copyright hints, too. This doesn't allow you to claim any rights for the code or to pass it off as you own development. You're not allowed to sell it separately.
